ARTIST STATEMENT

As with many areas of my human journey, my art expresses the discoveries of the unknown parts of me that are calling to be made free.

Mixed media for me, opens a world of possibility. Utilizing what I have in my hand the creation begins with a simple offering of heart and soul. I love experimenting with colour and texture in free flowing pure abstract compositions.

The art expresses the jazzy influences in my life, this ongoing exploration is driven by passion and curiosity. While I pour, and allow the paint to guide me in the direction it longs to be moved. I am listening for the shift and change opening each creation to be a self-discovery of an untold story.
